ACS: Specialists in Brick Cutting for Prestigious Projects

At ACS, we are renowned not only for our innovative FastClad Brick Slip Systems but also for our expertise in brick cutting and fabrication. Our work supports high-profile projects, offering tailored brick solutions that meet architectural and structural demands with precision. One of our recent achievements was partnering with EHSmith Facades on the prestigious Old Paradise Street project in London.

Project Overview: Old Paradise Street, London

  • Client: Bywater Properties

  • Project Manager: Quartz Project Services

  • Architect: Feilden Clegg Bradley

  • project value: £28million

Working with EHSmith, ACS contributed to this vision by cutting Ceipo Ceramic Blocks specifically for this development. This project required meticulous precision to ensure the ceramic blocks maintained their integrity while achieving the exact sizes required for the build.

ACS's Expertise in Brick Cutting

Our team at ACS brings extensive experience in both masonry and fabrication operations. As specialists in brick cutting, we work with a wide range of materials, from traditional clay bricks to modern ceramics like the Ceipo blocks used in the Old Paradise Street project. We were able to offer the accuracy of cutting slots for the mechanical restraint rails of the support system, maintaining consistency of the elevation flatness, as well ensuring each block was cut to present the correct orientation and then supplied to site in a format that allowed the blocks to be installed in the correct pattern.

Current Project Progress

Our collaboration with EHSmith on this project has progressed well, and we’re excited to share recent photos supplied by Paul Nutting showcasing our work in action. These images illustrate the precision need for the project, reaffirming our position as a trusted name in brick cutting and fabrication.

The Old Paradise Street project is more than just a job; it reflects our commitment to excellence in every facet of our work, from brick cutting to comprehensive fabrication solutions. As we continue to grow, ACS remains dedicated to supporting innovative architectural projects across the UK.
